Well, I guess I shouldn't have commented on the Baby in Blue headline because now your titles are getting just plain weird.
I love seeing the close-up baby pictures though. She is just adorable -- and looks ridiculously like her Dad.
Long distance viewers want to know: what colour are her eyes?
Sorry, but I left out the computer classes and the business classes in school. Her eyes are currently grey with a slight brown tinge. I will try not to take offense by the comment that she looks like her dad after the mention of her adorableness.
I hope to add my comments to the environment rant going on further down whenever this kid will sleep for longer than ten minutes.
Judy (aka Mommy!)
Well, I guess I dogberried a compliment for Scott on that post. Let me say for the record that I think Ciela is just adorable and that she also looks ridiculously like her Dad but I do not think that these things are in any way related, in fact, I think that the fact that she can be completely adorable in spite of the paternal resemblence must entirely be due to the stellar genetic material she received from her Mom. I will further add that I think her Mom ought to make the adorable Dad take the baby whenever possible so that she can participate in the rant against the environmental atrocities of the Bush administration because it's really very cathartic and just what an overtired new Mom needs.
Hey, Judy, I wondered when we would hear your voice. I think the discussion on the Black Day entry is pretty much over. Jo(e), Tater Salad, and the dogberry ranter have already given their closing statments. I’m sure we’ll be hearing soon from the media pundits about who won the debate.
But if you feel bad that you didn’t have a chance to give your views because you were tending to a crying baby, don’t worry. I suspect that in the next four years we will have many opportunities for environmental rants. And Ciela is going to have lots more to cry about when she sees how we are destroying the planet she will be growing up on.
The up-close photos of the baby are beautiful. I too think she’s adorable and I think that she looks like her very own self.
Some photos to show Ciela. Check out the gallery at sorryeverybody.com
I do love how the new verb "dogberry" got worked into the comments above. Quite nicely done, whoever it was. I've been cruising all over this site today, and I'd like to add that Ciela does have a great head herself, by the way, a really fine head. I see some of Scott in that aspect of her, because Scott has a fairly well-formed head himself, if I recall correctly. Although, Judy also has an excellent head herself, so the girl had a promising compliment of head genes to pick from right off the bat. Lucky babe!
